Description

Villa Guarnaschelli was built in the second half of the 19th century and renovated in the 40th by the architect Tomaso Buzzi. In 1955, the entire property was built by the noble Palermitan Cav. Domenica Guarnaschelli bought to realize his long-standing dream, the opening of a casino in Taormina.

The villa housed the most famous personalities of this time, such as Marlene Dietrich, Gregory Peck, Kirk Douglas, Domenico Modugno, Louis Armstrong u.v.m. To all of them, the same room was assigned, which still bear its name today. After the closure of the casino, the villa was inhabited by Don Mimì, together with his wife Donna Mariella Internicola Guarnaschelli, who took care of the entire last renovation of the villa.

The villa is spread over two floors, which mainly faces the sea front. The lower area welcomes its guests with its impressive salons with arched windows from where you also have direct access to the relax zone. From here you have a royal view of the historic garden with its infinity pool, as well as the famous Isola Bella and the Calabrian coast. A sight which leaves you speechless. Next door are numerous dining areas where you can taste the local specialties. There is also a guest toilet and a fully equipped kitchen on the lower floor.
At the top of Villa Guarnaschelli are all six bedrooms and five bathrooms. All the rooms are stylish and furnished in the smallest detail and make their guests a unique and unforgettable stay. From each room you can enjoy a breathtaking view.
